How do I apply?
Returning Team Zoot members are automatically renewed when they purchase a 2024 triathlon kit.
When will I know if I made the team?
We will notify you through email in the beginning of October 2023 if you have been accepted or have not been accepted.
Can I apply if I don't live in the U.S.A.?
The application on this site is for USA residents only.

What does it cost to join Team Zoot?
There are no membership fees to join Team Zoot. As a member of the team you are required to race in team gear which will be available for preorder in October. You must purchase either a 1 or 2 piece race suit, or race gear which is unique to team Zoot. All items on the team store will be available at a heavy discount for the team. You can purchase as much or as little additional custom items from the team store at that time.

What does Zoot expect from you as a Zooter?

Introduce the sport of triathlon to at least one new person. You can bring a friend or family member who has never watched a race to a triathlon. You can encourage someone to toe the line at a sprint triathlon. The possibilities are endless when you love the sport of triathlon and want to share it with others.

Plan to race at least 1 triathlon throughout the 2024 season

Race exclusively in the TEAM ZOOT KIT (we do have exceptions for local events where you want to race in your local tri club kit).

What kind of athlete is Zoot looking for?
We are looking for triathletes who enjoy the journey and are passionate about triathlon. Whether you race a sub 10 hour Ironman or you are looking to complete your first Sprint Distance tri, it’s showing up and exuding a positive attitude that counts.
Do I need to be fast or podium to on the team?
No, you do not need to be speedy fast or place on the podium in races. It is more important to us at Zoot that you love the sport of triathlon and want to share your passion for the sport with others. TEAM ZOOTERS encourage others on and off the course!
How big is Team Zoot?
TEAM ZOOT has 10 different regions across the USA with a captain in each region. The captain’s job in the region is to bring members together to train, race, share information, and have fun together! Each region will have approximately 200-500 members. We believe having larger numbers will create a stronger community on and off the race course.

Can I be on another brands triathlon team?
We ask if you want to represent Zoot, to only represent Zoot. We love competing against other branded teams!
Can I be on a local triathlon team/club?
Yes, we encourage you to be involved in your local community. We ask that when you race outside of your tri club events, that you wear your TEAM ZOOT kit.

When is the 2024 Team Zoot gear I ordered going to be shipped?
March 2024 before Oceanside 70.3Do I need to race in the team kit?
If you are racing a triathlon, you must race in the 2024 Team Zoot kit. If you are doing any other kind of race, Team Zoot gear is recommended but not required.My husband/wife is also on the team. Can we combine our Team Zoot 2024 kit orders?
No. You must submit separate orders for all members even if you live in the same house. Don’t worry, shipping is free.I decided I wanted also to order a running shirt after I submitted my team kit package order; now what?
Go ahead and place your additional order, we’ll do our best to combine them.What happens if you decide to order more gear after the store closes?
Extra inventory will be available on zootsports.com after the exchange period ends.What if the 2024 Team Zoot gear I ordered doesn’t fit?

What are the Team Zoot partner discounts?
An email will be sent after the team roster is determined with Team Zoot discount codes. These codes are confidential and for your personal use only. Any abuse will result in disqualification from the team.Can I share my Team Zoot discounts with myfamily/friends?
No. We work with partners to get you very generous discounts. Please do not share discount codes or request them on social media.
